It is my hope that people will be challenged to reconsider what are considered the givens of the current culture. Your biggest help to me dear reader will be to often remind me that God is Sovereign and that all that is, is because it pleases him.

  1. I just wanted to encourage you to post these types of entries occasionally. We all need gatekeepers who will point us toward useful things to read lest we waste time on folly. You are one those gatekeepers.

  2. You are very welcome. I recall times when I would write something that I thought was top notch and the only sound emanating from the peanut gallery was chirping crickets.

You are an exceptional and unusual writer and your teaching ministry expands far beyond your church and reaches many more than you realize. It made me smile to see members of my church linking to your piece on birth control, to take one example. The web was designed for the likes of you. The technology that Arnold is putting in place is also a boon. I was able to watch once when I was home church do to some back pain. You are blessing many.

I took a quick gander at your response to my queries about the role of the magistrate in Reformed thought. I’ll have some additional questions that you can reply to at your leisure if you wish to do so.

    1. Darrell,

I wish I could convince my bank account that I was ” exceptional and unusual writer.” ; )

Thank you again for your kindness. When you come back to visit Michigan, let me know and we will meet.

      Bret
