The Dystopian Gramscian Vision Has Arrived

Gramsci was a Italian Marxist who had adjusted the works of Marx away from a solely economic model and towards a model that retained much of Marx’s basic thought but instead of view all things through a economic grid broadened the Marxist critique so as to aim at all of culture, inclusive of economics. This really was latent in Marxist though but Gramsci made it central and distinct.

Marx desired to cut the roots of capitalism. His was a vision where class warfare between the proletariat and the bourgeoise, where the proletarian working class would rise up and throw off the bourgeoise and claim for themselves the means of production, thus ushering in an egalitarian Utopia. Gramsci, and the Cultural Marxists who followed him understood that, more had to be done then just gaining the means of production. The Cultural Marxists believed that the egalitarian Utopia could only be brought in by going for more than just economics, and class warfare. A larger arena must be attacked and that larger arena was Christian culture as a whole.

Gramsci in the quote above talks about the necessity to cut the roots of Christian culture in order to overthrow Christian countries. His plan was, to put it in other language, was to de-Christianize the culture of Christian countries. According to his plan, there would be a need of a new proletariat to overthrow the previous order. Classical Marxism insisted on workers of the world uniting against the bourgeoise (owner class). That proletariat vision had failed. Gramsci essentially said a new proletariat had to be recruited to battle a new bourgeoise. That new proletariat would be the Christian cultural root cutters. In that context, Gramsci and the later Cultural Marxists also adjust the Classical Marxist antithesis. Instead of a world divided into proletariat (workers) and bourgeoise Gramsci and his followers divided the world into the “oppressed” vs. “the oppressors.” The oppressed would be the new proletariat class that would cut Christian cultural roots and overthrow Christian countries.

Classical Marxism had taught the workers were oppressed but in the Gramscian vision the oppressed category would be expanded. It would still include the oppressed workers, but added to that would be those who Christians had “oppressed” because they were those who, by their behavior, rejected Christian culture. This expanded the pool of “oppressed” by creating a new proletariat that included Feminists, Sodomites, Sexual Perverts, Minorities operating according to envy, and those who had ever “suffered” under Christian colonialism. These people would be the new proletariat that would cut the roots on Christian values and so overthrow Christian countries.

This new proletariat would overthrow Christian countries via the long march through the institutions. This was the equivalent of the classical Marxist idea of the workers seizing the means of production. This long march through the institutions meant that the oppressed class mentioned above would take over, from within, the previously Christian institutions. The technique they would use to do that was by selling the idea that Christianity was tyranny and Christians were tyrants and only by following their solutions could people be liberated from the oppressor Christian faith. Ironically enough, the enemy here weaponized the Christian faith against Christian in order to cut the roots of their Christian values. The Christian faith was reduced to love and the new proletariat kept banging away that Christian values were not loving to the oppressed. Poor disadvantaged people like Feminists, Sexual Perverts, minorities animated by envy, were not being loved as Christians said all men should be loved. The demand went up that these who had been oppressed be allowed to have a voice in our previously Christian institutions. This is what Gramsci meant by the long march. Over the course of time, increment by increment, the Institutions would be changed so that the previous bottom rail of society (the so-called oppressed) would become the top rail of society. In the world of the Cultural Marxist the oppressed were in the advantageous position.

What Gramsci desired was put even more colorfully by German Communist Willi Munzenberg when he said,

“We must organize the intellectuals and use them to make Western civilization stink. Only then, after they have corrupted all its values and made life impossible, can we impose the dictatorship of the proletariat.”

The putative “intellectuals” (they’re really quite stupid people with above average IQ’s) have indeed led the way in making Western civilization stink. In my own lifetime America has been Weimar-ized. In my own lifetime I have seen the rise and mainstreaming of the sodomite. I have seen the ever increasing mainstreaming of gender blending. I have seen the percentages out of wedlock pregnancies and birth sky-rocket. I have seen the fair skinned well dressed western woman become adorned with tramp stamps, while dressed like a whore who is pining for business. I have seen Church services go from a proper and respectful decorum reflecting a sense of “The Holy,” to bad Hootie & the Blowfish concert. I have lived through the process of making Western civilization stink.

Gramsci’s work has been more successful than Marx’s initial offerings. The long march through the Institutions has been largely accomplished and we stink. This long march will continue until power falls into the laps of the Feminists, the sexual perverts, the angry and envy filled minorities, the illegal immigrant etc. The power is already falling into their hands. New York city has its Mamdani. DEMS in Michigan are running Abudullah Al-Sayed, an angry, envy filled minority for US Senate. DEMS in Texas are running a chap who has insisted that “God is non-binary.”

No longer can it be said that the civilized world is saturated by Christianity. The consequences of rejecting a absolutely personal and transcendent God has done its work. As a result it must be said that Gramsci and the Cultural Marxists have created the new West.

Before ending we must note that Gramsci gets an assist in all this from Radical Two Kingdom theology promoted by much of the Church today. R2K gets an assist because it teaches that the church can not and must not speak against the Weimar-ization of Western civilization. More than that R2K suggests it is sin for the pulpit to limn out how the West has been de-Christianized. So, while Gramsci and the Cultural Marxist ideas have indeed accomplished a long march through the Institutions, R2K (men like David Van Drunnen, R. Scott Clark, and Mike Horton) should be given the assist they deserve for where we are at today.

May God help us all as we continue to fight against this Gramscian dystopian nightmare. After all, in the end it can only fail.
