Fraud steals by deceit, corruption is out in the open.
I am sure thats not his definition, but thought I would
take a stab at it.
He who defines wins.
Yes. Tim was confronted about $13 billion missing from State health agencies and illegal aliens receiving benefits. In his mind, if he can get the money and benefits to them by having them “sneak” it away (wink wink, nod nod), that is fraud on their part and he is pristine. If he gave it to them it is corruption on his part. Either way the taxpayer is out the money and are required to keep funding this scam. You see, old Timmy doesn’t understand “breach of public trust”, culpable negligence or the golden rule. He is perfectly fine with having less than with what he was entrusted.
He is worse than the wicked slothful servant who hid the talent in Christ’s parable… Tim insults Christ before am open heaven and is saying…
Master, I took your talent and placed it on the table at the pub, went to the bathroom and when I returned it was gone. So you see it is not my fault. There was no corruption.
Well, that is helpful.
So… in Tim’s world fraud is “they did it but I didn’t know they were doing it,” while corruption is “they did it and I knew they were doing in and approved of their doing it.
Seems a fine line.
They are synonyms?
