A Simple But Perspicuous Example Of Why Christian Young People Have No Business Going Into The US Military

It’s an Obama World… Gay Flag Flies at Afghan Base But the Christian Cross Is Banned

The US Military, like the Government schools, is opposed to the Christian faith, opposed to Jesus Christ, and opposed to Christians in as much as those Christians esteem the Christian faith and stand with Jesus Christ.

The photo makes it clear that while the US Military is in league with the Sodomite agenda (witness the Rainbow flag) it will have nothing to do with Christianity (witness the requirement to take down the Cross from the worship barracks). Now, the US Military and their civilian overlords have been insisting that they have been going soft on Christian symbols because they didn’t want to offend their Muslim “hosts” in the Middle East and yet Muslims are also typically offended by public displays supporting Sodomy. Yet, despite the US Military’s Muslim “hosts” being offended by sodomy the US Military still boldly flies the symbol of sodomy in the face of the Muslim Afghans.

Romans 13 — The Way Reformed Exegeses Used To Handle It

‎”Tyranny being a work of Satan, is not from God, because sin, either habitual or actual, is not from God: the power that is, must be from God; the magistrate, as magistrate, is good in nature of office, and the intrinsic end of his office, (Rom. xiii. 4) for he is the minister of God for thy good; and, therefore, a power ethical, politic, or moral, to oppress, is not from God, and is not a power, but a licentious deviation of a power; and is no more from God, but from sinful nature and the old serpent, than a license to sin. God in Christ giveth pardons of sin, but the Pope, not God, giveth dispensations to sin.”

~Samuel Rutherford, Lex Rex, p.34

One Kingdom for Christ, One Kingdom for Neutrality, But No Kingdom For Satan

Christ’s kingdom is not just sitting alongside Satan”s kingdom (dualistically!), but Christ is in the process of defeating Satan (the usurper) and his kingdom. Sphere sovereignty has to do with how power and authority are limited/distributed and how culture is built. Properly understood, it is not to be used as a way of declaring certain domains “neutral” or outside the authority of Christ and His word

In the Scripture, we are not taught to think of the kingdom of God in some abstract fashion, like a circle in a diagram. The kingdom is described in dynamic and militant terms, as a mountain that fills the earth, or a stone that breaks in pieces all opposition. The kingdom doesn”t float down like a UFO, it breaks into the present order with power and permeates all.

This all seems so obvious but the really frustrating part of this is that in R2K “theology” I can’t really find the Kingdom of Satan. The Kingdom of Satan can’t be in their “Redemptive Realm,” for that is, according to their “theology,” uniquely Christ’s Kingdom. The Kingdom of Satan can’t be in their “Common realm” for that is, according to their “theology,” uniquely the neutral realm, public square that is owned by neither Christ nor Satan. The R2Kt lads have two Kingdoms but no Kingdom for Satan, no place where I can conceptualize a “present evil age,” resisting the leavening effect of the currently invading “age to come.”

This Place Is Going To Blow

This clip is from the Christian College I graduated from.

I’m not sure what modern female college graduates learn outside of the hard sciences, engineering and flat-backing disciplines. I’m guessing, given the performance linked above, a preponderance of it is jejune cultural-Marxist torpidity, which probably is helpful for brain dead social climbers and future Church pew sitters. However, I do not think such banality is a sign of refined taste anymore then I think cannibalism is a sign of epicurean high taste. The ability to master cultural Marxist “knowledge” and the “dance” steps that go with it is more of a sign of the emptiness of the soul and bloodless apathy than refined taste. I’d guess that assortative mating between modern Christian college graduates will produce an upper middle class of emotionally, psychologically and culturally stunted credulous imbeciles who embrace modern neo-Marxist culture as the milk of Western Civilization. That seems more worrisome then what we currently call “dance.”

“All Men Are Created Equal…”

“All men are created equal,” as advanced in the Declaration of Independence was NOT a grasp at asserting “equality of opportunity,” or “equality of outcome,” as those ideas are advanced today in the name of equality. To read “All men are created equal …” as such is to import our ideas of egalitarianism back upon the Founders. All men created equal merely meant then that all had ontological equality since all were CREATED. In our language today in the Church we might say that all men are equal because all men are the image of God. That the Founders did not believe that all men were equal in the sense of equality of identity is seen later in the Declaration when they can complain about “savages.”

“He (King George III) has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare, is undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.”

Certainly no one believes that our Founders believed those “savages” they reference were equal to themselves as Englishman in terms of “equality of identity.”

So, I do not agree with those that insist that the Founders had the type of equality in mind that moderns seem to think that they had. That kind of equality was foreign to them and was an import of Enlightenement Romanticism that came in during the Jacksonian rise of the common man and eventually flowered into Transcendentalism which set the Northern Yankee armies marching to pillage, rape and burn under the flag of “French Revolution equality.”

Being a “Founder American” I am against notions of “equality of opportunity” for the simple reason that it intrudes the State into areas it has no business in. How can the State make sure that a McAtee newborn can have the same opportunity that a newborn of Jesse Jackson, or Colin Powell can have? Can’t happen and so the myth of equality of identity as believed by the Enlightenment Americans (and nowhere enshrined in the Declaration of Independence) should be silenced.
