Scriptural Principle for lying to Magistrates seeking to harm you.

Some of the examples we find of lying in Scripture,

A.) Hebrew Midwives lying to Pharaoh

Exodus 1:¹⁵ Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah; ¹⁶ and he said, “When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.” ¹⁷ But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. ¹⁸ So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the male children alive?”¹⁹ And the midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before the midwives come to them.” ²⁰ Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty. ²¹ And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.

B.) Abe lying to Potentates about Sarah being his sister (not wife)

Genesis 12:¹⁰ Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to dwell there, for the famine was severe in the land. ¹¹ And it came to pass, when he was close to entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, “Indeed I know that you are a woman of beautiful countenance. ¹² Therefore it will happen, when the Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. ¹³ Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me for your sake, and that ^[e]I may live because of you.”

Genesis 20:1 And Abraham journeyed from there to the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur, and stayed in Gerar. ² Now Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.

C.) Isaac lying for the same reason about Rebecca

Genesis 26:⁶ So Isaac dwelt in Gerar. ⁷ And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, “She is my sister”; for he was afraid to say, “She is my wife,” because he thought, “lest the men of the place kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to behold.”

D.) Rahab being commended for lying to her city officials about the spies.

James 2:²⁵ In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?

Hebrews 11:³¹ By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

Many commentators note that Abraham and Isaac were dead meat if they had admitted that their wives were their wives. The Kings would have just killed them and taken their wives. However if their wives were thought to be their sisters then Abraham and later Isaac would be plied and wooed with gifts in order to convince the brothers to give their sisters in marriage.

We must conclude that the principle that justifies lying in these cases in Scripture is that we do not owe the truth and so are not obligated to tell the truth to anyone who intends to unjustly harm either us or loved ones were we to tell the truth. Lying in order to protect God’s people, it seems, is warranted in the Scripture.

It should be noted that nowhere in Scripture does the Holy Spirit condemn Abraham and Isaac for being in sin for lying to the potentates. We can only conclude then that Abraham and Isaac were righteous in what they did in these cases.

Indeed if we look at other cases of deception as practiced in Scripture by God’s people (Ehud with Eglon, David feigning madness with the Philistines, Tamar with Judah, etc.) there seems to be a principle that deception is allowed to protect the people of God and / or to advance the Kingdom against enemies of God.

Now applying to this principle to our current situation we would note that many of the State Governors as well as many of the agency of either the FEDS or the United Nations intend to harm us by their order for us to mask up when masks do nothing to stop the Chinese communist virus. The harm is found in their intent to fill us with fear so that they can control us and others to do their bidding once vaccines come out. There is also the issue that wearing the masks is a violation of not only the 9th commandment but the 6th commandment as well as masks work to the end of self infecting. This is why lying about having a medical condition to those who ask and so refusing to wear a mask is pleasing to God while damning the State for insisting that we live by lies by wearing the mask is proper is also pleasing to God.

4.) Creates necessity of double income homes which
5.) Creates DINKS (Double Income No Kids)
6.) Where there are children they are put in day care
7.) Children thus do not form normal family bonds
8.) Men and women apart in the workforce fosters adultery as men bond to women who are helpers in their workplace and women bond to men they are helpmeets to at the workplace.
9.) Thus increasing divorce rates
10.) Thus creating more consumption and less saving as income must now support two households. One household by way of alimony and child support a second household as men remarry.
11.) Thus creating broken dysfunctional people and families
12.) Rinse and repeat.

Dear Pastor,

Would the governing body be the elected officials or would it be the constitution which is the highest form of authority to which our governors are suppose to uphold? Would it be more against Romans 13 to betray the constitution and follow these governors that are supposedly disregarding the laws of this country? This is something I have been thinking about.

Beyond that reality (which is a monumental consideration) if we are to be faithful to our national covenant (US Constitution) then our loyalty is to the governing document and not to Magistrates (Governors) who are abusing the document. This is the principle that was followed by our Founding Fathers when they tossed King George III overboard. The King was violating their colonial charters and as such the King’s authority was no longer legitimate.

When the Magistrate (Governor) disobeys the political covenant (US Constitution and the Texas Constitution in your case) then they have declared themselves to be no longer legitimate magistrates (Governors) and so are owed absolutely zero obedience. Instead they should be arrested and tried as treasonous bastards. This was the same principle that your Texan fathers followed in 1861.

Remember the slogan of the founding fathers.

“Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.”

“The English department at Rutgers University declared that proper English grammar is racist and will be making changes in it’s English standards so as to stand with Black Lives Matters.“

This means that if one is a in State on Campus student at Rutgers University you will be paying 35K to attend Rutgers so you can learn to speak and write like an Australopithecus aborigine.

This action begs the question; “Who is being the “racist” here? (I really don’t like using that word but as it has, in this case, become short-hand for treating minorities as something less simply because they are minorities, I will succumb to using the Marxist word “racist.”) The pursuit of this policy demonstrates what is widely known as the low expectations of soft bigotry. This policy assumes that minorities are not capable of learning the Queen’s English and as such we will dumb the language down in the course work at freaking Rutgers in order that minorities can feel good about their accomplishment of passing their English courses and creative writing courses.

This is also an example of how socialism works. Socialism always leads to the least common denominator level. Rutgers has assumed that minorities are genetically too stupid to learn proper English and so Rutgers is going to dumb all non-minorities down to the level of the ignorant minorities (per Rutgers’ obvious belief) who allegedly can’t learn the English language as well as the white man. The consequence of this is that everybody becomes as stupid as the stupidest minority’s inability. It won’t be long until Rutgers’ student vocabulary is going to be reduced to, “sheeeeeit, Motha fuku,” and other like linguistic expertise.

If we want to continue to push the envelope we would note that this is the policy one gets when one puts minority students into University settings who are not capable of the University regimen. We have, via SAT affirmative action, added a few hundred SAT points to minority SAT scores for the simple reason that minorities are identified as minorities when taking the test. The result of these added SAT points is that minorities are allowed into University settings where they can’t compete. Once it becomes obvious that the minority member can’t compete at the level of present standards held up before the other students the consequences are one of three. Either the University can,

1.) Do the same that was done for the minority test taker when they took the SAT and just arbitrarily add points to the test that minorities take at University.

2.) Let the minorities flunk out. This is not really an option for the Universities because if Universities allowed minorities to flunk out because they couldn’t do the work, the consequence for the University would be lawsuits brought against the University for “racism.”

3.) The University can reduce the standard for all the students so that the incapable minority student who shouldn’t be at the University to begin with, can compete.

There is something else that needs to be said here. Not only is it the case that unqualified minorities are pushed along in the SAT tests by adding points to their SAT score simply because they are minorities but minorities are also pushed along (as we are seeing at Rutgers) so that they can graduate. All along the way, minorities are pushed along with the result that minority “professionals,” are hacks in the fields they are working. Naturally, there are exceptions. There are minorities who don’t have to be pushed along and really are qualified but notwithstanding that reality, our current system, as can now be clearly seen thanks to Rutgers University, is filling the ranks of white collar professionals (Doctors, Lawyers, Shrinks, Teachers, Ministers, etc.) with minorities who are not qualified to be in the occupation that they are quite literally…. practicing.

When you study this stuff out and realize what is going on, you have to be nuts to want to go to a professional who is a minority member.

Now, of course, some will read this and scream that I have just written a “racist” screed. But if there is “racism” here it is the racism of my opponents who continue with the soft bigotry of low expectations which in turn results in the constant embrace of socialism which in turn lowers the standards, not only for English, but for varying professions that are being staffed by some of those who are only in those professions because the standard was dropped so that they could be there.

If I am guilty of anything, it is not “racism,” but rather I have committed even a worse sin than that. I have committed the sin of noticing.

Once upon a time it was typical for both nuclear family and extended family to not only share blood thus having a natural tie that binds, but as importantly the family had a shared world and life view. This shared world and life view also served as a tie that bound the family together. Between blood and faith nothing could cut the familial bonds of affection and loyalty.

However modernity first attacked the natural worldview ties chiefly by seizing our children and training them in educational centers where the children were separated from their parents beliefs. Now modernity is finishing off the family working to dissolve the natural ties of blood. The family is under attack. Read the recent Atlantic Monthly article on the family by David Brooks wherein Brooks seeks to convince the readers of the need to rid ourselves of the blood family in favor of “make it up as you go” family. The modernists created the problems that has given us the crack up of the family and now the modernists are offering “solutions” that will only serve to make the problem worse. If Brooks “solution” was to be followed we would soon slide into third world status. Children would not be able to identify their parents and parents would begin to conclude that providing for their particular children was not their unique responsibility. Brooks has only offered a more sophisticated version of Hillary’s “it takes a village to raise a child.” Brooks gives us families defined as anything from two Lesbians and their cats as well as some waif they found on the streets to group marriages as combined with children adopted by the group and the group’s children who don’t know which two people of the group are their mother and father. It’s insane but such is modernity.

The family will not survive this attack on blood unless it can restore its understanding of the need to have a shared Weltanschauung (world and life view). The family has to return to the idea of a shared Christianity … a shared confession … a shared theology and a shared understanding of who God is or the family will not survive. A shared world and life view informs the family why blood is important. A shared understanding of God means a shared understanding of a family structure where there is the honoring of thy Father and thy Mother. A shared understanding of the Christian God means a shared understanding of marriage wherein a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves now to his one singular wife so as to establish another sub-unit expression of the trustee family. A sub-unit that is supportive of the extended family while at the same time being distinct from the extended family.

This means parents you have to go crazy training your children to share your faith … your morality … your theology or else you will lose your children to the gale force winds of modernity and post-modernity. Family will sink under the pressures brought by the Marxist Revolutionaries unless we can restore the importance of blood by emphasizing the importance of faith.

As Christians we absolutely have to stop losing our children to contrary faith systems and worldviews because if we cannot pass our Worldview on to them they will dismiss the importance of shared blood ties. Without the God of the Bible and belief in Him there is no reason to value blood ties. At the same time the importance of worldview isn’t going to take unless our children understand how important blood ties are. Our families thus can be neither solely propositional families nor solely blood families. It must be both or it will be neither.

This is why we need to keep our children home and not ship them out to be trained by non blood related strangers who do not own our Christian world and life view. The end result of doing that has been the interruption of the idea of “covenant succession” whereby the faith is supposed to be passed on to our blood kin seed. If we can not keep our children the church will pass, for a season, into dark chaos and old night. It’s already on the cusp of just that.
