Repudiating the Ongoing Slander & Libel Against Biblical Kinism

I didn’t follow some of the other debates that apparently took place in the FLF group, but my sense of things is that you’re simply following Paul’s instructions to address sin differently in different classes of sinners. Don’t harshly rebuke an older man (1 Tim. 5:1), and be careful about hearing charges against an elder (1 Tim. 5:19). There’s also a difference between dealing with an individual man’s error and dealing with a social contagion error like kinism or CRT. I can’t think of specific Scriptures that address that, but it seems pretty common sensical. In the first instance, you’re going to need focused sniper attention on the man; in the second, a broad-blasting shotgun approach. (Metaphorically speaking. No actual shooting in either case, please. 😉)

Dear Valerie;

Hmmm…

1.) Many of the Kinists are older men and are Elders. Where is the Pauline approach there?

2.) There is no Church council that has pronounced on Kinism. As such that you could refer to it as a “social contagion” is yet more slander and libel and a sign of “hate in your heart.” Indeed, no one has even dealt with the Kinist arguments yet… unless you consider pointing, spluttering and screeching like a Junior High girl to be a “argument.” There is a whole 600 page anthology out demonstrating the Kinist impulse throughout Western Civilization and Church History and yet the best we get in response to Achord and Dow’s book are stupid statements like… “they were just quote mining.”

3.) At the same time the Apostle’s Creed itself casts out Full Preterism and consequently it is indeed safe to consider it a “social contagion.” The works of Max King, Don Preston, and others demonstrate it is a social contagion. The fact that Full Preterism has bested Reformed men like David Chilton and Gary DeMar demonstrates it is a social contagion. Besides, anybody knows that the way to beat a contagion is by stopping it as soon as possible. DeMar needs to be cast out for advancing Full Preterism. Where are the men dealing with DeMar the way that Paul dealt with Peter as recorded in Galatians? Was Paul guilty of not being careful Valerie?

4.) Now if you desire specific scriptures that support Kinism, I suggest you look at this three part series written by a chap working on his Ph.D at Westminster East;

  1. You cannot cast out what God has ordained. And you must stop and look at what many people today say; like John MacArthur, RC Sproul and other reformers that The apostles believed that Christ was coming in their lifetime and they are correct because that’s what the apostles under the inspiration of the revelatory spirit declared that Christ was to be revealed in his παρουσια, that is that he was to show that he was true God that was just revealed in the flesh to the first century. That was Christs παρουσια. And you are understand what Hymanaeus is talking about when their reference is to the temple and to Judaism this many people do not understand and miss about the resurrection and about Judaizers to go back to Judaism and the temple, this is throughout the new covenant letters. People warned not to go back to being under the old covenant because it was an administration of death 2 Corinthians 3, whereas the new covenant that God promised before time by the prophets is a covenant of life and it was the age of life they were about to enter into. Whereas those that did not believe were condemned under the age of Moses.

    1. Christopher,

      R. C. Sproul wrote a book titled “The Last Days According to Jesus.” You should read it to see that Sproul agrees with me on full Preterism and not you.

      This book is Sproul’s defense of his partial preterist position. He has long recommended J.S. Russell’s book, “The Parousia.” Here Sproul identifies the major issues between full preterists and partial preterists. His major objection to full preterism is a past resurrection. This is one of the most significant books on partial preterist eschatology.

      Sproul wanted nothing to do with your Full Preterist interpretations.

      Read the book.

      1. I thank you for that, however, and understand this, that RC Sproul and many other pastors that I know that are reformed do agree with full preterism and I spoke to them personally, and I know someone who has spoken with RC Sproul personally but he never came out and agreed because they are all afraid that they would be cast out as they see many of their other brothers cast out and not excepted; as one pastor of a Baptist church said to me, “I know it to be true but I cannot risk my job”, but they understand and he was one that did understand just as Gary Demar is understanding and there are many reformed people who see full preterism as the only correct and logical understanding of what the Bible is teaching. There is nothing wrong with understanding the Bible and it’s full preteristic view; it is as the Jews looked forward to the coming Messiah, we now look back to all of his finished work and we continue in his kingdom, this is the kingdom today that has no end. And when we die we can know we will go to be with him. The problem with understanding most of the Bible is it’s Hebraisms and it’s Jewish Greek. I ask you to really sit down and search the scriptures. Because Paul spoke of a resurrection that was about to happen in the first century and people are still looking for one to occur; they don’t understand what the Bible is teaching. We need to not quote the “apostles creed” because the apostles did not write them; already there was problems in the church as Paul was departing from this world.

      2. “I share Gentry’s concerns about full preterism, particularly on such issues as the consummation of the kingdom and the resurrection of the dead.”

        R. C. Sproul
        Reformation or Retrogression?

        Finally, Christopher, would you like to compare all the books I’ve read on this subject on both sides of the issue with the books you’ve read? Believe me when I tell you that I have been all over this subject over the years and that you are telling me nothing new. Keep in mind that guys like Sam Frost, Roderick Edwards, and others embraced Full Preterism, wrote books supporting Full Preterism, and then finally walked away from Full Preterism because it is a doctrine for fruitcakes.

        Sproul was a Partial Preterist who wanted nothing to do with Full Preterism. Besides, I know someone who knows someone who knows Vesta Sproul and Vesta told them that she talked to her husband about this and he viciously tore apart Full Preterism as being heresy.

  2. The alienists say kinism is “hate.” Well, if hate bothers them so much, why do they seem undisturbed by the unrelenting malice directed toward white folks these days? I suspect that many of them have a greater allegiance to Equality, the goddess of this world, than to Christ.

    If you don’t worship her, our secular lords will make you suffer. And the alienists don’t want to suffer, particularly the disapproval of those they deem to be their moral and social betters.

    1. It’s because they are hypocrites. Kinism bothers them, because they’ve bend over to any neo-Marxist demand so far. This can be seen especially well from them appreciating homosexuality and of course condemning ‘homophobia’ in the strongest terms. Those go together: Condemnation of ethno-national units (the macro-level) as well as distorting marriage on the micro-level. At the same time they reread anything in the bible in a humanist sense as well. I’m afraid that the root-cause of this is far more fundamental than a dispute about folk, family or marriage. It shows that they aren’t guided by the spirit but by passions of the flesh. And that is the real danger.
