Columbus Ohio’s Consideration of Conversion Therapy Band

Just read an account where the Columbus, Ohio city council, following Toledo and Cincinnati, is considering making conversion therapy illegal to engage upon within the city limits as applied to anyone under 18 years of age. Conversion therapy is therapy trying to help deliver someone from the insanity of identifying as LGBQT.

http://nbc4i.com/…/city-council-considers-ordinance-bannin…/

1.) This is the criminalizing of Christianity among the professional class. Who else in the medical or psychological professional field except a Christian would pursue this kind of therapy as help for the mentally ill? Christians in these professional fields are being told that they must not seek to apply Biblical Christianity as a means of making the sick whole.

2.) This is sacralizing Sodomy and the whole LGBQT phenomena. If a law is passed forbidding medical professionals fromm seeking to convert the pervert then what else can that be except an action which sacralizes and makes untouchable the LGBQT individual?

3.) As such it goes a long way towards establishing a religion in Columbus. Adherents of LGBQT’ism may not be touched. They are Holy to the Columbus Lord. Perverts have special rights and having special rights their religion of LGBQT’ism has special rights. This kind of legislation, applied as it is to the professional class, is a banning of repentance as that might arise in the context of professional counseling.

4.) If the city council meeting that I viewed is any indication of what is going on in Columbus, the measure is being passed on the strength of emotional testimony. The pervert crowd testifies that the fences that Taboos provide are so mean and that their feelings are hurt. Tears flow in the audience. No one stops to consider that Taboos that build fences of social ostracization serve a purpose to protect the community.

One wonders if there is any perversion that can be named wherein it would be acceptable to shun someone with harsh words? Is it acceptable to say to a pederast, “You’re an abomination?” Is it within proprietary  bounds to tell someone who is a practitioner of Coprophilia that they “better repent or they will burn in hell?” Is it socially unacceptable to tell someone who keeps goats for bestiality purposes that they if “you get near my children you won’t need the goats anymore?”

And yet, all because people are putting verbal boundaries between themselves and mentally ill people (see the testimonies in the link) apparently we must have a law that protects pervert LGBQT’ism and so eliminates the associated and protective social order taboos.

5.) Of course, the accredited shrinks were on hand insisting that conversion therapy is of the devil.

“Opponents of conversion therapy, including many in the medical community, said the practice is not legitimate and cannot change one’s gender identity or sexual orientation.”

Yet we know that it is perfectly acceptable for medical professionals to do conversion therapy via sex change operations. We know that legion is the name of shrinks that seek to help people to adjust to the discovery of their new gender. This is more evidence that this is a faith-based decision that is prioritizing the religion of LGBQT’ism.

And again,

“There’s not a shred of evidence that shows that’s (gender conversion) even possible,” Dr. Jim Broyles, a psychologist, said.

Broyles, who is the former head of the Ohio Psychological Association, said the therapy can be “harmful and damaging” to patients.

This completely ignores that there is not a shred of objective evidence (tearful subjective testimonies don’t count as objective evidence) that gender fluidity exists. There is not a shred of objective evidence that people are born sodomite or were born female in male bodies.

6.) The star witness was a 14-year-old LGBQT person of one variety or another. The audience and council members fawned all over herm for herm bravery and eloquence. Evidence that we are no longer a Christian people as we give our sympathy to the wicked.

7.) In as much as we are protecting the criminally insane by legislation, it goes a long way towards proving that we as a people group are ourselves criminally insane.

8.)  “At the end of the day, this is about protecting people for who they are,” Zach Klein, president of the Columbus City Council.

Really? This is the only standard Zach? Then why not protect the pederast? The goat lover? The coprophiliac? The necrophiliac?  After all, if law is going to be based on protecting people for who they are how dare we not protect one and all for who they are?

9.) As this proposed law would apply to only those under 18 it seems clear that this is an attempt by the LBGQT community to sustain and grow their numbers. Obviously, if a confused child isn’t helped before they are 18 with sexual confusion then it makes it that much more likely that their sexual identity will be set in concrete once they are 18 and older. Every year that goes by wherein a child is allowed to be confused sexually makes it that much more unlikely that they will ever be unconfused. As such this proposed law would have the effect of swelling the numbers of the LBGQT pervert community.

10.) This proposed law takes parental responsibility away from the parent and places it in the hands of the state. The state will not allow parents to seek out professional help in Columbus to find help for their child. Of course, parents can still go to a religious counselor, per the law’s proposed content, but if the “professional” community is not allowed to pursue this then what is communicated is only fringe nutcase religious people try this kind of “nutty” therapy.

In the end, we have become a social order that is so inclusive that we have lost the ability to name anything as taboo, except the naming of having taboos as being taboo.  As a people, we desire to so include everyone that the only people we will exclude are people who own the standards that were once considered the essence of being civilized. The only abominations, the only ones who can be damned to hell, the only ones that we must protect our children from, the only ones who must be shoved in the closet and so socially ostracized are those who insist this is all insane fecal reasoning.

I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends … Dr. Mark Hamilton on Psychology

The seminary in my area has been into Christian Counseling for years. They have not invited me to speak there since the mid ’90’s when I gave a chapel talk there entitled “Saved by Christ, Sanctified by Freud”. I was being a bit facetious needless to say. Here are some of my notes I use now when critiquing Christian therapy.

A Hard Look at the Social Sciences Christianity and Contemporary Psychology
Dr. Mark Hamilton

Theoretical Issues

1. Do the views of human nature, including the basis of human value, the nature of human corruption, and the proposed solution to the human dilemma (sin and evil) have the ability to be reconciled to each other? Can biblical perspectives of human nature remain in tact when merged with Freud, Jung, Maslow, etc.?

2. The most common concept of contemporary counseling is low self-esteem. How ought Christians to think of the self-esteem issue? Is it at all congruent with Scripture? Furthermore, there is no significant data found in secular material to support the linkage of self-esteem to social problems. Isn’t self-esteem and self-love part of the fallen, sinful nature?

3. Can there be substantial psychological or emotional healing through means other than Christ? Or if Jesus is the answer, then why look elsewhere?

4. If we make life more bearable, comfortable, or livable for a non-Christian without giving them Christ, could we find ourselves actually working against God if he is trying to move that person to a point of need?

5. Is our contemporary Christian therapy preventing us from finding our identity in Christ? Paul in Phillippians 3. “I count all things as loss for the sake of Christ.”.

6. Does therapy which indulges in past experience contradict the Pauline concept of “forgetting what lies behind?” also in Phil. 3.

7. Is it an industry justified which creates its own artificial categories of illness then supplies the means of healing by charging outrageous costs often justified by third party payments (insurance), and yet we pay the high costs of insurance?

8. Can therapies which are historically rooted in the occult or occultic practices (meditation, visualization, guided imagery, hypnosis, etc.) be used by redeemed Christian therapists and counselors and still call the therapy “Christian”?

Are Galatians 3:1-3; 5:1, 13,15; Romans 5:1-5, 1Cor. 10:13, 1Jn. 2:15-16, Mt. 28:19-20 – given to us to teach that we need humanist Psychology in order to be whole?

Mt. 22:37-39 contains 2 commandments not 3, though the atheist Eric Fromm sees that the commandment there is three; Love God, Love Neighbor, and Love thyself. John MacArthur has stated in, “Our Sufficiency in Christ,” that, “Human therapies are embraced most eagerly by the spiritually weak—those who are shallow or ignorant of biblical truth and who are unwilling to accept the path of suffering that leads to spiritual maturity and deeper communion with God. The unfortunate effect is that these people remain immature, held back by a self-imposed dependence on some pseudo-Christian method or psychoquackery that actually stifles real growth.”

Practical Issues

1. Is there anything immoral about the practice of faking empathy when one is not really intentionally empathic, just acting empathic?

2. What makes one qualified to be a Christian therapist? Is it education? Theological understanding? Character? Could one be a Christian therapist without being a church leader?

3. Is there a difference between wise Biblical counsel and counseling?

4. Is there a moral problem of charging for counseling if one is basically providing Christian Counsel? Is this a “selling of the gospel?”

5. Has the role of Christian therapist replaced discipling in the church and thereby adding to the professionalization of ministry and to the lessening of the ministry of the congregation? Is it a way of “buying friendship?”

6. Does counseling using the methods of non-Christians actually add to the sanctification process? Donald Matzat has asked, “Could it be true that Sigmund Freud received revelation that opens our eyes to the manner in which sanctification is able to be accomplished among God’s people today, revelation that was hidden from Paul, Peter, James, and John?

7. How ought we to think of the issue of therapy provided from someone of the opposite sex? How do we think of the lack of monitoring and reporting of the misconduct of sexual behavior?

8. Ought the practice of Christian Counseling be covered by and directed by the local church or should it be autonomous?

9. Are the contemporary methods addictive in that they indulge the counselee in the opportunity to focus on themselves for an hour?

10. Have we elevated the therapist to a position of unquestioned authority? Can one counsel as a Christian and still retain the ideal of being value neutral?

Quotes on Social Engineering Achieved via Television, Government Schools, and Pharmacology

Man’s conquest of [human nature] means simply the rule of the Conditioners over the conditioned human material, the world of post-humanity which, some knowingly and some unknowingly, nearly all men in all nations are at present labouring to produce.

-C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man, (London: HarperCollins, 1999) p. 46

…[T]he man-moulders of the new age will be armed with the powers of an omnicompetent state and an irresistible scientific technique: we shall get at last a race of conditioners who really can cut out all posterity in what shape they please.

Ibid, -Lewis, p. 37

If the system succeeds in imposing sufficient control over human behavior to assure its own survival, a new watershed in human history will have been passed. …industrial-technological society will be able to pass those limits [of human nature] by modifying human beings, whether by psychological methods or biological methods or both. In the future, social systems will not be adjusted to suit the needs of human beings. Instead, human beings will be adjusted to suit the needs of the system.

-Theodore Kaczynski, Industrial Society & Its Future, (Filiquarian Publishing) pp. 68-69

…[N]ew technology tends to change society in such a way that it becomes difficult or impossible for an individual to function without using that technology… [S]uppose a… treatment is discovered that, without undesirable side-effects, will greatly reduce the psychological stress from which so many people suffer in our society. If large numbers of people choose to undergo the treatment, then the general level of stress in society will be reduced, so that it will be possible for the system to increase the stress-producing pressures… Something like this seems to have happened already… [M]ass entertainment is a means of escape and stress-reduction on which most of us have become dependent.

-Kaczynski, p. 71

Our society tends to regard as a “sickness” any mode of thought or behavior that is inconvenient for the system, and this is plausible because when an individual doesn’t fit into the system it causes pain to the individual as well as problems for the system. Thus the manipulation of an individual to adjust him to the system is seen as a “cure” for a “sickness” and therefore as good.

-Kaczynski, pp. 70-71

Imagine a society that subjects people to conditions that make them terribly unhappy, then gives them the drugs to take away their unhappiness. Science fiction?… Instead of removing the conditions that make people depressed, modern society gives them antidepressant drugs. In effect, antidepressants are a means of modifying an individual’s internal state in such a way as to enable him to tolerate social conditions that he would otherwise find intolerable.

-Kaczynski, p. 65

Now let us consider another kind of drug — still undiscovered, but probably just around the corner — a drug capable of making people happy in situations where they would normally feel miserable. Such a drug would be a blessing, but a blessing fraught with grave political dangers. By making a harmless chemical euphoric freely available, a dictator could reconcile an entire population to a state of affairs to which self-respecting human beings ought not to be reconciled…

-Aldous Huxley, cited in Jim Keith, Mind Control, World Control, (Kempton: Adventures Unlimited Press, 1997) p. 95

There will be in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing… a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies.

-Huxley, cited in Keith, p. 95

The twenty-first century… will be the era of the World Controllers… The older dictators fell because they could never supply their subjects with enough bread, enough circuses, enough miracles and mysteries. Under a scientific dictatorship education will really work — with the result that most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution. There seems to be no good reason why a thoroughly scientific dictatorship should ever be overthrown.

-Huxley, cited in Keith, pp. 95-96

[Education] is becoming a scientific technique for controlling the child’s development.

-Kaczynski, p. 66

What if there is no “problem” with our schools? What if they are the way they are, so expensively flying in the face of common sense and long experience in how children learn things, not because they are doing something wrong but because they are doing something right?… Could it be that our schools are designed to make sure not one of them ever really grows up?

[In 1934,] Ellwood P. Cubberley detailed and praised the way the strategy of successive school enlargements had extended childhood by two to six years… Cubberley… had written the following in the 1922 edition of his book Public School Administration: “Our schools are … factories in which the raw products (children) are to be shaped and fashioned…. And it is the business of the school to build its pupils according to the specifications laid down.”

[Schools are] laboratories of experimentation on young minds, drill centers for the habits and attitudes that corporate society demands.

We have become a nation of children, happy to surrender our judgments and our wills to political exhortations and commercial blandishments that would insult actual adults.

-John Taylor Gatto, “Against School”

If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, is it not possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing about it?

-Edward Bernays, Sigmund Freud’s nephew and the godfather of consumerism

Two institutions at present control our children’s lives – television and schooling, in that order. Both of these reduce the real world of wisdom, fortitude, temperance, and justice to a never-ending, non-stopping abstraction. In centuries past the time of a child and adolescent would be occupied in real work, real charity, real adventures, and the realistic search for mentors who might teach what you really wanted to learn. A great deal of time was spent in community pursuits, practicing affection, meeting and studying every level of the community, learning how to make a home, and dozens of other tasks necessary to become a whole man or woman.

-John Taylor Gatto, “Why Schools Don’t Educate”

7 Step Program for Changing Institutions

1.) Semantic deception

Use words that the rank and file think they know the meaning of and then fill those words with different meaning so that when you use a word in a particular setting those assembled hear you saying “A” while those in the know understand that you are saying “Z.” On this one remember your Orwell, and his “Ministry of Truth,” and his “Double-think” from “1984.”

Example – The Changing of Christianity from a set core of beliefs and doctrines to a set of feelings, experiences or emotions. The name and title Jesus Christ remain but the doctrinal core of who Jesus Christ is, is deleted and filled anew by talk of “having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.” Each individual person is left to decide for themselves what that relationship means and who Jesus Christ is for them.

2.) Gradualism

The methodology embraced by the Fabian Socialist, gradualism takes the evolutionary incremental approach to change. In the 1960’s we begin normalizing divorce. In 1973 we begin normalizing sodomy. In 2012, we begin talking about the normalcy of incest.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/09/11/can-sex-between-brothers-and-sisters-ever-be-normal/?intcmp=obnetwork

3.) Employ the Hegelian dialectic

Create conflict (crisis) with the established norm (Thesis). Raise up a extreme opposing party in that conflict (Antithesis). Provide your solution (what you were going after originally) as the necessary change (synthesis). Call the change “consensus.”

Examples;

Noe-Babelists change agents must abolish local control of education (the “Thesis”) in order to restructure our schools from academics to global workforce training (the “Synthesis”). Funding of education with the property tax allows local control, but it also enables the change agents and teachers’ unions to create higher and higher school budgets paid for with higher taxes, thus infuriating homeowners. Eventually, property owners accept the change agents’ radical proposal (the “Anti- thesis”) to reduce their property taxes by transferring education funding from the local property tax to the state income tax. Thus, the change agents accomplish their ultimate goal; the transfer of funding of education from the local level to the state level. When this transfer occurs it increases state/federal control and funding, leading to the federal/internationalist goal of implementing global workforce training through the schools (the “Synthesis”).

When I was a boy I accidentally applied the Hegelian dialectic to one particular chore quite unknowingly. My Folks “Thesis” was for me to vacuum the carpet. My “Antithesis” was a carpet that was still soiled after I had vacuumed. The synthesis I desired was the carpet is clean without Bret vacuuming the carpet. The crisis I created was by repeatedly vacuuming the carpet in such a way that it remained soiled. The synthesis (consensus) of my folks was to have another sibling vacuum the carpet.

4.) Gain Control of the Information Outlets

This is why the internet is so potentially dangerous because on the internet the truth can be ferreted out with only a little work.

David Rockefeller, in Baden-Baden, Germany, 1991, thanked the major media for keeping secret the elitists’ plan for the world. He said: “… it would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government.”

5.) Gain Control of the purse strings

Resistance to change, as brought by those with an agenda against the established theory, theology, ideology, principle, or practice, will be next to impossible if those who are the Change agents control the purse strings of the Institution. The only exception to this might be if those advocating change somehow tapped another sources of wealth.

6.) Gain Control of the Leadership Structure

Once both the information and the purse strings are controlled it is comparatively easy to staff positions with the chosen people, if only because people kiss up to those who can control their future opportunity to advance.

7.) Secure the allegiance of subsequent generations

Again, once 4-6 is accomplished, #7 is comparatively easy.

One aspect of #7 is to keep the rank and file dumb and ignorant often by the use of bread and circuses. Shut down inquisitive minds. Distract people who have probing questions. Marginalize anybody whose probing looks to threaten the reality that the change agents have built and approve of.

Another aspect of #7 is to create an approved public mind. Mold people so that if they are out of step with the the opinion of the Institutional community they will self-correct themselves and bring themselves back in line with approved group think. Use subtle (and when necessary not so subtle) means of reinforcement and punishment in order to reinforce this idea of the public mind (group think).

Skinner and Walden Pond Two … The Elites Vision Of Control

B. F. Skinner was a psychologist who had monumental influence over Government schools. Skinner followed in the footsteps of W. Wundt, G. Stanley, Hall, E. L. Thorndyke, John Dewey, and many others by helping to psychologize American education in a humanist direction, thus helping to construct our current Psychological culture.

Here are some excerpts from “Skinner’s, “Walden Pond Two.” These excerpts give us insight in what kind of culture Skinner envisioned.

245 — “We not only can control human behavior, we MUST.”
219 — “The New Order”
189 — “Psychologists are our Priests”
286 — “What is love except the use of positive reinforcement?”
278 — “Let us control the lives of our children and see what we can make of them.”

186 — “We can make men adequate for group living … That was our faith.”

134 — “Our goal is to have every adult member of Walden II regard our children as his own, and to have every child think of every adult as his parent.”

135 — “No sensible person will suppose that love or affection has anything to do with blood.”

108 — “History is honored in Walden Two only as entertainment.”
105 — “We are always thinking of the whole group.”
160 — “We are opposed to competition.”
139 — “The community, as a revised family.”

Conclusion?

This fictional account of Skinner’s ideal community is much like the language and laws in use today by the behavioral elite — describing their plans for your children, your schools, your country, your family, and yourself. How do you like your life and behavior managed and chosen for you by an elite who are intellectual pygmies, moral buffoons, above all else Christ haters?
