Live Not By Government Lies

“People are often heard to say, “I know the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) lied too often in the past, but this time it is telling the truth.” Ironically, in retrospect, this was what people would say each time the CCP made a grave mistake in the past. This reflects the ability the CCP has acquired over the decades to use lies to fool people.”

Nine Commentaries On The Communist Party — p. 283

This is true in spades of Americans also. Well … except for the part perhaps of “knowing that our Government has lied to us in the past.” Our Federal Government has specialized in lies for DECADES… even scores of Decades. They lied about the Lusitania not carrying military ordnance. They lied about not knowing about the Japs coming at Pearl Harbor. They lied when they passed the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. They lied about the USS Liberty. They lied about the Gulf of Tonkin non-incident. They lied about the Tehran and Yalta Conferences. They lied about FDR not being a dead man walking while running for his 4th term. They lied about the dangers of birth control pills. They lied when they said, “If you like your Doctor you can keep your Doctor.” They lied in the 1940 campaign when they promised that “Your boys will not be sent to a foreign war.” They lied about Watergate. They lied about Iran-Contra. They lied about getting fellatio from a 20 year old intern. They lied about using that intern as a human humidor for their cigars. They lied when they said that there were no Communist agents in the Executive branch of the Government. All our Federal Government does is lie. Lying is its reason for existence. When our Federal Government lies it speaks its native tongue. The reason for the Federal Governments existence is to prevaricate, dissimulate and lie.

And yet despite this long and sustained history Americans still are determined that the Federal Government is telling it the truth about the Wuhan virus. The minute the Feds said that 2-4 million Americans were going to die from Wuhan virus the electorate should have laughed along with me. When Trump said that 100K – 240K were going to die from the Wuhan virus we should have all said … “yeah, right.” When Fauci and Birx droned on and on about how dangerous the Wuhan was we should have said to ourselves, “Quacks.”

Speaking only for myself when Governments speak to me my attitude is “I wonder how they are lying on this one.” It doesn’t matter either as to what level of civil realm Governments one is dealing. Whether its the FEDS, the State, or local governments my assumption is that when their lips are moving they are lying. My cynicism is supported by all kinds of history both as in examined in the literature and as personally experienced.

If the Chinese are co-dependents on their lying government, making excuses for their Government at every turn, Americans don’t even want to admit to themselves that all their Government does is lie to them all the time.

It is maddening for those of us who choose not to live by lies.
