What Constituency Does The Powell Endorsement Bring Obama?

Will more black people vote for Obama then otherwise would have since Colin Powell endorsed B. Hussein Obama? I mean once you get to around 94% of the black vote how much more black vote can you reasonably expect? What endorsement for Obama should we expect next — Bill Cosby?

Maybe this will deliver the “I was a black person who made my career on the basis of being promoted by Republicans” vote.

I don’t fault Colin Powell though. Who could fault a man for sticking with his people?

Maybe he thinks this endorsement makes up for lying for Bush to the United Nations about weapons of mass destruction.

Is there anybody in Washington who even knows what character means anymore?

  1. Joshua,

But that is what I mean …

A man who opposes those who have advanced his career just for the opportunity to be on the side of a winner is a man without character. I thought the same thing when Bill Richardson dumped the Clintons at a opportune time to endorse B. Hussein Obama.

  2. Colin Powell, perfectly fits the definition of a RHINO. Without a doubt he would have voted for Senator Clinton or another liberal as well. Powell thinks that Senator Obama will “inspire” and be an “exceptional” leader. I don’t share in his assertion.

  3. Dave,

Personally, I think the RHINO’s are the Republican party. Powell is perfectly consistent with most of the Repbulicans I know who are running the party. This is why McCain is so dangerous. I would guess that if McCain were not at the top of the Republican ticket he would probably be endorsing Obama.

    What a mess,
