Far beyond Germany’s eastern horizon, the Bolshevik leader, Vladimir Ilych Lenin, himself of concealed Jewish origin, had fashioned this rootless, fanatical racial group into the most ruthless arm of his dictatorship. Jews had taken over leadership of the feared Cheka, the ‘All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counterrevolution and Sabotage,’ ever since Lenin set it up by decree in December 1917. The Cheka and its unlovely successors, GPU and the NKVD, established outposts, largely officered by Jews, throughout the Soviet empire, a practice which would continue long after the coming water. Jews had notoriously provided the murderers who had cruelly ended the Romanov (Czar) dynasty. One Jew signed the warrant, and handed it to another Jew to execute; a Talmud student and Cheka agent carried out the actual killings, with two others. They shot, bayoneted, and bludgeoned to death the former Tsar, his wife, and their five children with their staff in the Urals city of Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk) one night in July 1918, then pillaged the bodies and attempted to burn them.
Published statistics showed that in 1934 Jews dominated Stalin’s security apparatus; 38.5% of its senior officers were of Jewish origin. Often they had Germanic names, which they as often concealed – Kamenev was born Rosenfeld, etc. A historian, Sever Plocker, also a Jew, estimated that these Jews were responsible for twenty million deaths. While their fellow-travelers in the West turned a blind eye, Lenin and Stalin preferred to rely on Jewish interrogators, executioners, and judges, as Plocker found. Genrich (Heinrich) Yagoda, the founder of the NKVD, alone had ten million lives on his conscience. He was replaced in 1936 by Nikolai Ivanovich Yezhov, a five-foot-tall Gentile who had taken a Jewish wife, Yevgenia Feigenburg. Yezhov came to an unfortunate end. His accomplice Lazar Moiseyevich Kaganovich outdid even him, while Leonid Reichman, the NKVD’s chief interrogator, would deservedly enter the annals of Red Terror. All were Jews. ‘Many Jews,’ summarized Plocker angrily, ‘sold their soul to the devil of the Communist revolution – and have blood on their hands for all eternity.’
Neither Himmler nor Heydrich had yet taken into account of this Jewish element of Bolshevik history. In Heydrich’s papers, now partly housed in Moscow, we find that for five years after the National Socialists came to power, he ranked the Catholics, followed by Protestants and freemasons as Germany’s most dangerous enemies. I’ve read and enjoyed Mr. Irving’s ‘True Himmler,’ as well as several others of his books. My favorite is ‘Nuremberg: the Last Battle’. I appreciate his dives into many of the original source materials, but still wonder at his high regard for the Martin Bormann edited ‘Table Talk’. On that score, I have to agree with Dr. Matthew R. Johnson:

I have to be frank, these are NONSENSE STATISTICS. Truly high-quality revisionists should never peddle stuff like this if they want to be credible in the eyes of lovers of objective truth. Just uncritically recycling wild propaganda claims like this is not creditable, and I would have expected better from Irving. Was he starting to get senile at the time he wrote this?
Right-wing dissidents, especially the ones aspiring to be intellectuals, cannot form some cozy echo chamber where they pat each other on the back and refuse to criticize each other and themselves.

That seems to have been a clumsy joke more than anything else. It is not true, no matter what Putin might say. I have dug into this matter with some seriousness, instead of relying on uncritically recycled revisionist soundbites.
Given that fact maybe you can share some of your sources that putatively refutes all this?
I mean even if Putin was joking (I noticed nobody laughed as if it were a joke) there must be evidence that speaks the contrary.

I have never read Irving, but I have David Duke’s book “The Secret Behind Communism” in my library. That is the kind of book one might want to have a physical copy of, as our society slides toward memory holing forbidden truths. I actually reviewed Duke’s book at Identity Dixie way back in the summer of 2017, but last year ID went offline.

I discuss regularly with a couple of close friends how the tentacles of these people encircle the globe. Frankly I dont need much more proof than simply their ownership of all the monetary system throughout the world, media, education, on and on. Their computer spyware is embedded worldwide. I do not want to start a scholarly treatise in this here format, so I will just make some simple quick remarks.
a) That “Jews filled 457 of the 556 top Bolshevik posts”-claim originated in the wild rumors of the Russian Civil War chaos era, and was transmitted to Western right-wing writers by some White Russian source that hyperbolically exaggerated the already quite gruesome reality. I can understand why non-scholarly Henry Ford would repeat that claim, but as I said, I was disappointed to see that someone of the stature of Irving would also repeat it uncritically. Kevin MacDonald, who values the concept of academic rigor, has never given credit for it.
And that one-time quip by Putin, which I have found somewhat weird, is ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE par excellence. Serious scholars should not pass on that kind of stuff, even “mischievously.” It is such an insufferably VAGUE comment as well – what on earth does it mean that “eighty-five percent of the first Soviet government were Jews”?
b) Some personal comments; I come form an “Eastern-ish” European country, which has had its strong native Socialist tradition, with no considerable Jewish input. And I can tell that in Eastern Europe, even hardcore anti-Semites do not think they can blame Communism on Jews quite so easily. They know the huge over-representation of Jews in Bolshevism, and hate them for it, but they are also bitterly aware how great part of of their own peoples also participated in this subversive movement. And Russians (I am not Russian myself, but I know them) actually hate it when they hear some faraway Anglo Rightist dissidents “Anglosplaining” their revolution to them – “ackshually it was all Jews.” No, even Solzhenitsyn did not think so.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn, in his book “200 Years Together,” certainly did not hold back on the Jews – but see if you can find in his book any confirmation or acknowledgement of that “457 out of the 556 top Bolshevik posts”-claim:

c) In general, it frustrates me when some source presents both good materials and bad materials at the same time; it is like a mixture of pearls and pebbles. This short piece itself presented a GENUINE and credible claim, which I have seen on another, seriously scholarly context, namely that “38.5% of its senior officers were of Jewish origin”. (That is, in the early 1930s the Jews formed about 40 % of the leading cadres of the NKVD, or about 50 people out of 100+ people, or so I recall. This same source also showed that after the late 1930s Stalinist purges, this percentage collapsed quickly, so that in 1940, on the eve of the Operation Barbarossa, the NKVD was already firmly in gentile hands.)
d) The Jewish over-representation in the Bolshevik power structure was at its most outrageous right at the beginning of the revolution, before the dawn of the Stalinist era. It was the time of the Jewish triumvirate Trotsky-Zinoviev-Kamenev, but once Stalin had defeated them, by 1926, you can see that Lazar Kaganovich was from that time onwards the ONLY Jewish member of the Politburo:

And in any totalitarian system, the ARMY has always been the essential source of power. (That is why the Nazi party created the armed forces of it own, the Waffen-SS, since it could not entirely trust on the Wehrmacht.) And even though Trotsky played a big part in creating the Red Army, it was never dominated by the Jews. In fact, Stalin’s greatest rival in the army circles, the marshal Tukhachevsky, was of Russian aristocratic origin – a cold-blooded mercenary thug who dreamed of becoming the Napoleon of the Russian Revolution, but Stalin took Tukhachevsky out before he could do the same thing to him. This factor alone precludes such simplistic statements like “the Soviet Union was ruled by the Jews” (which greatly annoy Russian nationalists, even the ones who detest Jews).
So… you don’t deny that there existed vast Jewish influence (just not as vast as Irving states) and that influence was vastly disproportionate to their population … you merely want to give it some context.

Yes, unfortunately I am that kind of quibbling guy; the devil lies in the details. To me, it matters whether some organization’s leadership was 40 % Jewish or 80 % Jewish.
Hyperbolic exaggeration – even when committed under the most understandable circumstances, like shell-shocked White Russian officers, in the mental state of rage and despair, as they are heading towards defeat, and repeating to Western writers the wild rumors they have heard of what is happening in the Bolshevik territory – can easily become an untruth or a lie. And I would not tell an intentional lie against Satan himself (that would be like becoming the monster you are fighting against).

But there is one more thing I would like to say about the Russian Revolution – that it contains a grim providential lesson for all peoples about the danger of playing with fire, or trying to make deals with the devil. The Bolshevik Jews may have been metaphorical devils, acting under the guidance of literal devils – but there were all too many gentiles who were ready to play with this devilish force, and who thereby forfeited their moral right to speak with full indignation about the course of events that followed. They played with the devil, and the devil dragged them much deeper into the abyss they could have guessed!
Starting with the military planners of Imperial Germany, who made the fatal bet of deciding to aid the Bolsheviks, in order to cripple their Tsarist Russian enemy. The Red regime could not have gotten through its first winter, spring and summer in 1918 if the Kaiserreich had not consciously decided, for its own selfish reasons, to tolerate their existence in Petrograd and Moscow.
But the Russians themselves had already, eight months before the multicultural Bolsheviks struck, performed a Leftist revolution against their hereditary ruler, in March 1917 – which by traditional European code of honor would have been seen as a criminal act of treason.
And the great majority of Russian people had welcomed this event – the Tsarist loyalists were overwhelmed. An Assyrian Protestant pastor (whose own people, like that of R.J. Rushdoony’s, was at that time being genocided by Muslim Turks and Kurds) gives us an eyewitness account of how the Russian troops stationed in the Middle Eastern front behaved on this occasion – to me, this is sufficient proof to me that “moral majority” of Russians had decided to betray their God along with their king, and Jewish Bolsheviks then acted as “the scourge of God” that made their deal with the devil hurt much more than they had imagined:
