“Likewise Protestantism is a Jewish breakdown of the order of God. So, it’s like (for Protestants) “you can believe that, but you don’t have to believe that.” It’s the picking and choosing of bits of Christianity in order to lead people away from Christianity. Rather than having the fullness of truth (Protestants believe) you can have that bit of truth and reject that bit of truth and still be in good standing with God.”
Calvin Robinson
English Catholic Priest
Interview w/ Joel Webbon
Of course Webbon said nothing to refute this Papist bull fecal matter. I know some Reformed people who have become enamored with Robinson. Likely, it helps them to say to themselves, “See, I’m not racist. I like a black clergy member.”
So, since Joel Webbon said nothing to repudiate this garbage, allow me to say that Rome remains in violent opposition to the God of the Bible and the Christian faith. Rome is not Christian in the least given its official position and doctrines and until Rome repudiates Trent it remains as an Institution, anti-Christ. Also, how many consecutive clear anti-Christ Popes does their need to be before people realize that Rome is a whore house, just as the Reformers noted? The latest Pope’s latest activity finds him canoodling with the Muslims, giving them religious credibility.
These words by Robinson is pure projection on his part. It is Rome who invents its own Christianity and then after the Reformers stood up and said, “What you have randomly picked and chosen as Christianity is NOT Christianity,” Rome complains we Protestants are the ones picking and choosing what we will and will not believe.
Shame on Webbon for giving Robinson a pass.

We are now seeing more of this phenomenon where people can be brave on one front but timid or cowardly on another. Like Tucker Carlson dares to oppose Jews, but sweet-talks Muslims.
(Or like many Protestant fundies have bravely opposed sodomy and abortion, but pale at accusations of racism.)
Proper Trinitarian balance is needed so you do not start sliding on one direction while rising on another.
While I agree with much of your sentiment towards Robinson, from everything I’ve seen he is not a Roman Catholic. He is “catholic” meaning universal in the Anglican or Nordic tradition.
Hello Galen,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I have met and spoke with Calvin Robinson. He describes himself as “English Catholic,” which is a particular denomination. He freely admits he is a cleric in a continuing Anglican denomination founded in 2024: the English Catholic Church.
When I spoke with Robinson, I asked him directly if he affirms the doctrine that Roman Catholicism’s codified and owned as truth at the Council of Trent. He affirmed that he believed Trent was truth. We politely disagreed in that conversation.
He is Roman Catholic then. Perhaps there are some bells and whistles missing but anybody who embraces Trent is Roman Catholic.
Hope that clears matters up.
Bret
It is so rich for that priest to claim such nonsense. the whole RCC teaching evolved over time, with new doctrines added here and there. Who was the first to call himself pope, to state he spoke ex cathedra from his throne, or to mandate veneration for Mary? Can or cannot one eat fish of Fridays? On and on. The Roman “church” in 800 did not look like the church in 1200 or the church in 1519 when the Protestants tapped the brakes and said enough.
