The Messiah & The Mouth — Obama & Biden

In good Messianic fashion B. Hussein Obama picked a guy who has the mouth of a prophet. Biden has been delegated by the Messiah to go forth and herald to the masses that the great “I am that I am” has arrived. Biden’s message will be along the lines of … “I bear witness that there is no God but Obama and that Biden is His servant.”

B. Hussein Obama’s pick of Biden is risky and traditional at the same time. It is traditional because he has picked a experienced insider politician who balances the ticket by how white he is. Indeed, Biden may be the first white male who was picked because of his whiteness and his maleness. In making Biden his VP running mate Obama is conceding his difficulty with securing the traditional white male blue collar Democratic base, and he is hoping that Biden will bring these voters home.

Biden is risky as a pick because he doesn’t help Obama regionally or even necessarily in any of the contested battleground states such as Virginia, Colorado, Florida, or some of those rust belt states. Historically, a Vice Presidential running mate is chosen in order to give a ticket regional, and ideological balance. Biden as VP fails the need for regional balance, as the Democrats were in no danger of losing Delaware or the Atlantic Coast States North of the Mason Dixon Line — the region where Biden is from. Biden as VP also fails the ideological balance as Biden is marginally less Marxist then B. Hussein Obama.

There are only two reasons that B. Hussein Obama chose Biden. The first, and most important is the one I mentioned earlier, and that is that Biden is White. The second is that Biden brings the aura of experience to the campaign. The Obama campaign no doubt is betting that people will be a little less nervous in voting for the neophyte Obama if they know old Joe is around to provide gravitas.

Look for Biden to provide entertainment value in the campaign. Historically he has an incredible knack for saying stupid things and it is hard to believe that he will be able to get through this campaign without dropping a few verbal daisy cutters. Having said that though Biden perfectly fits the role of attack dog that Vice Presidential candidates are expected to fill. Expect Biden to be a the perfect junkyard dog in this respect. The best way to muzzle Bide will not be to take his charges seriously though. The best way to muzzle Biden is to mock him. The man takes himself so seriously that the best way to unravel him is to not take him seriously at all. Biden will melt in the face of being mocked and laughed at.

Keep in mind also that Biden has is own history. He is the guy who in his own presidential run back in 1988 decided he liked British Politician Neil Kinnock’s speeches so much he decided to plagiarize them on the stump in his own campaign. Between Obama’s plagiarizing Deval Patrick’s speeches and Biden plagiarizintg Neil Kinnock’s speeches one wonders if they will be able to come up with an original thought between them. In Biden you also have a guy who has said less than complimentary things about Obama in the past. Still, I suppose if Kennedy could choose Johnson and Reagan could pick Bush a good campaign will be able to overcome those past sentiments uttered by Biden regarding Obama.

In the end I don’t think that Biden brings to Obama what Obama hopes he will bring. Biden will not be the difference in any of those battleground States, and I don’t think he will make white males feel any better about voting for a Black candidate who is a Marxist and who embraces Black liberation theology.

Still, don’t underestimate the Stupid party (Republicans) in their notorious capacity for losing. Indeed, I think that this choice by Obama may embolden McCain to choose Lieberman as his VP given that McCain may reason that he can afford to choose the guy he really wants in light of the fact that Obama’s choice is so weak.

Don’t Be A Patsy

Politics is as much about expectations and perception as it is about reality. This has been seen recently in the whole hub bub about John McCain possibly picking a pro-choice Democrat or Republican Vice presidential running mate.

John McCain is not, nor has ever been so politically stupid as to do such a suicidal thing, but he is as clever as a fox. Even with no intent to choose a Vice presidential pro-choice candidate McCain scores big in the expectations and perception categories.

First, by floating the trial balloon that he might choose a pro-choice democrat as his VP he creates a scenario where the firestorm of negative reaction by the brainless Republican “conservative” base gives them the sense of having political muscle when McCain pulls back from the edge of that kind of choice. Hence, McCain, by threatening to violate his already alienated base ends up giving them the perception that John McCain will listen to them.

Second, by leaking that he might choose a pro-choice Democrat, McCain insures that a only marginally conservative Vice Presidential nominee looks good in comparison to the VP nominee that was McCain was contemplating. By floating the pro-abortion possibility McCain wins the perception game.

Third, McCain gains with the Independents he is courting by suggesting to the Independents and pro-death Republicans that he is broad enough to actually consider somebody that they would be appealing to them. Even if McCain doesn’t choose a pro-choice candidate now he has delivered the message that he is broad enough to unite the party.

Fourth, by floating this balloon a this time it serves as a good balancing act with the conservative performance that he knew he was going to put on at CEO and CFR’s Rick Warren’s Community Center. McCain was going conservative with Warren but that is balanced by talking about choosing a pro-death candidate.

Personally, I wish McCain would choose a pro-choice candidate for that would forever expose him to be as liberal has he always has been. Maybe if he chose a Lieberman or Ridge type VP the brain dead “conservative” base might actually begin to get it.

Fisking Mr. Warren’s Neighborhood Civic Forum Part I

Mr. Warren Questions B. Hussein Obama

LET’S TALK ABOUT PERSONAL LIFE. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT INTEGRITY AND LOVE ARE THE BASIS FOR LEADERSHIP. THIS IS A TOUGH QUESTION, WHAT
WOULD BE LOOKING OVER YOUR LIFE, EVERYBODY’S GOT WINGS, NOBODY’S PERFECT, WOULD BE THE GREATEST MORAL FAILURE…OF AMERICA?

B. Hussein Obama answers,

I THINK AMERICA’S GREATEST MORAL FAILURE IN MY LIFETIME HAS BEEN THAT WE STILL DON’T ABIDE BY THAT BASIC RESPECT IN MATTHEW THAT WHATEVER YOU DO FOR THE LEAST OF MY BROTHERS, YOU DO FOR ME.

AND NOTION OF — THAT BASIC PRINCIPLE APPLIES TO POVERTY. IT APPLIES TO RACISM AND SEXISM. IT APPLIES TO, YOU KNOW, NOT HAVING — NOT THINKING ABOUT PROVIDING LADDERS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO GET INTO THE MIDDLE CLASS. I MEAN, THERE IS A PERVASIVE SENSE I THINK THAT THIS COUNTRY IS WEALTHY AND POWERFUL AS WE STILL DON’T SPEND ENOUGH TIME THINKING ABOUT THE LEAST OF THESE —

Pastor Bret Fisking,

This reveals Obama’s basic socialistic leaning. Behind this answer is the premise that the State must do more by way of wealth redistribution, and quota legislation.

Also the answer ignores the utter failure that the Nanny State has been. We have spent billions of dollars since FDR’s New Deal and LBJ’s Great Society to eliminate poverty and to provide for “the least of these” and most of what has been accomplished is creating a permanent poverty class by our subsidizing poverty, as well as a slave class dependent upon Massa State for handouts and take care of them.

Indeed I would say the greatest domestic moral fault of America in the past 80 years has been to pursue, by way of legislation and policy, the impoverishment and enslavement of large swaths of our population. America has been guilty of pursuing policies that create and perpetuate “the least of these.” Out of the desire to build a permanent constituency of those who are constantly reminded what they are owed and how they have been victimized, politicians like Obama have created a climate of bitterness and hatred between those who have been taught to envy and those who are the countries producers. That is moral failure in spades.

Relief for the “least of these” will not be secured by quotas and wealth redistribution. Relief for the “least of these” will come by way of the State giving up the sovereignty that it has stolen from family, church, and education realms, so that these spheres of sovereignty can be strengthened to deal with the “least of these.”

If Obama is elected and is able to pursue his policies that will take care of “the least of these,” you can book it now that by the time Obama leaves office our “least of these” will be proportionally a larger percentage of the country and they will not be any better off then they were before the Lord Munificent Obama took office.

Finally, we can’t finish this section without noting the utter and total hypocrisy of this “man.” The least of the least of the least of these in America are the unborn and B. Hussein Obama can’t kill them fast enough. It takes a great deal of cheekiness to shed crocodile tears about the “least of these” while being a butcher and torturer of the defenseless.

CEO Rick Warren Asks,

NOW YOU’VE MADE NO DOUBT ABOUT YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU? WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO TRUST IN CHRIST AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN ON A DAILY BASIS? I MEAN, WHAT DOES THAT REALLY LOOK LIKE?

Baby Killer B. Hussein Obama answers,

AS A STARTING POINT, IT MEANS I BELIEVE IN THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR MY SINS AND THAT I AM REDEEMED THROUGH HIM. THAT IS A SOURCE OF STRENGTH AND SUSTENANCE ON A DAILY BASIS. I KNOW THAT I DON’T WALK
ALONE, AND I KNOW THAT IF I CAN GET MYSELF OUT OF THE WAY, THAT I CAN MAYBE CARRY OUT IN SOME SMALL WAY WHAT HE INTENDS. AND IT MEANS THAT THOSE SINS THAT I HAVE ON A FAIRLY REGULAR BASIS HOPEFULLY WILL BE WASHED AWAY.

BUT WHAT IT ALSO MEANS, I THINK, IS A SENSE OF OBLIGATION TO EMBRACE NOT JUST WORDS BUT THROUGH DEEDS THE EXPECTATIONS THAT GOD HAS FOR US. AND THAT MEANS THINKING ABOUT THE LEAST OF THESE. IT MEANS ACTING — WELL, ACTING JUSTLY AND LOVING MERCY AND WALKING HUMBLY WITH OUR GOD. AND THAT, I THINK TRYING TO APPLY THOSE LESSONS ON A DAILY BASIS KNOWING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO FALL A LITTLE BIT SHORT EACH DAY AND
KIND OF TRYING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE NOTE AND SAY, WELL, THAT DIDN’T QUITE WORK OUT THE WAY I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BUT MAYBE I CAN GET A LITTLE BIT BETTER. IT GIVES ME THE CONFIDENCE TO TRY THINGS INCLUDING THINGS LIKE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO SCREW UP ONCE IN A WHILE.

Pastor Bret Fisks,

Scripture reminds us that a you can tell a tree by its fruits. Obama can shout all he wants that he is ‘redeemed’ but if he produces the fruit of dead babies then he is either a liar or he is deceived.

This answer though is red meat for the leftist evangelical crowd.

Here is a question for the R2Kt virus guys. Let’s say you had B. Hussein Obama as a member of your congregation and in his job in the common realm he consistently pursues the death of the unborn as he has consistently done as State and US Senator, and further, he appeals to a well thought out natural law basis for his position that he insists honors the Lordship of Jesus…does your church leadership discipline President B. Husein Obama?

An Insight Into Rick Warren’s Integrity

“I trust the integrity of both” (candidates.)

Rick Warren
CEO of Saddleback Community Center

Rick Warren knows the blood dripping from the hands of Barack Hussein Obama on the issue of abortion and he trusts his integrity?

That tells me a great deal about Warren’s integrity

“I have to tell you up front, both these guys are my friends. I don’t happen to agree with everything either of them teach or believe but they are both Patriots and they have very different views on how America can be strengthened in America. We’ve got to learn to disagree without demonizing each other and we need to restore civility. We need to restore civilty in our civil discourse and that’s the goal of the Saddleback civil forum.

Senator thank you. Now, would you stand — would you stand and thank Senator Barack Obama. Thank you.

I just want to remind you that one of the greatest freedoms we have here in America is the freedom of speech, even the freedom to protest this meeting. That’s a good thing, but we have to learn how to have civility in our civilization. How to stop being rude, how to stop demonizing each other, how to have a discussion and a debate because we all want America to be a greater place. God bless you.”

Rick Warren
CE0 — Saddleback Community Center

Here we see what Evangelicalism has been reduced to. Evangelicalism is all about being nice.

Civility occurs when your disagreeing over which way is the best way to drive to Aunt Millies for lunch. Civility is needed when you are discussing whether you should seed or sod when you landscape. Civility is needed when you’re disagreeing with an umpire over the called third strike. But how much civility is really required when we are debating with murderers of those not yet born? How much civility is really required when we are debating those who would continue to aid in the destruction of the spiritual and moral fabric of the country? When do we move past civility to pointed desperation in our debate?

We are dying as a people and culture, but what Warren seems to be primarily interested in our death throes is that we are civilized to each other while we are dying.

Obama’s Theological Mentors

“I still regard the bible as an important source for my theological reflections but not the starting point. The black experience and the bible together in dialectic tension serve as my point of departure today and yesterday. The order is significant. I am black first and everything else comes after that. This means I read the Bible through the lens of a black tradition of struggle and not as the objective word of God. The Bible, therefore is one witness to God’s presence in human affairs along with other important testimonies….

Black theology must realize that the white Jesus has no place in the black community and it is our task to destroy him….Black theology is concerned only with the tradition of Christianity that is usable in the black liberation struggle….For to long Christ has been pictured as a blue eyed honky. Black theologians are right; we need to de-honkyify him and thus make him relevant to the black condition.”

Stephen Mansfield’s new book “The Faith Of Barack Obama”

As quoted from James Cone’s Book — Black Theology & Black Power

Several important things here.

First, as to background, Mansfield includes the quote from Jame’s Cone in his book on “The Faith of Barack Obama” because Obama’s spiritual mentor and pastor for twenty years, Jeremiah Wright channeled James Cone and his work in his preaching and ministry. Cone was instrumental in the formation of Black Liberation Theology and Wright was instrumental in popularizing Cone’s work in the church he ministered. Obama thus, at the very minimum has been deeply influenced by Black Liberation Theology. This has crept through some of the things he and his wife have said in the election cycle. Indeed, if you read some of Barack Hussein and Michelle Obama’s recent quotes against this Black Liberation Theology backdrop it is downright scary.

Second, note that for “Theologian” James Cone experience is determinative of what the Bible teaches. This stands in opposition to the idea that the Scriptures should be determinative on how we interpret our experience. Cone has prioritized himself and his experience over against the testimony of God’s Word. This is called idolatry.

Third Cone’s literary methodology is clearly post-modern and so reflects the deconstructionist school of thought. For Cone there is no objective (authorial?) word in the text. For Cone all there is, is the Black reader giving meaning to the text by breathing life into the inert Scriptures. The subjective readers gives objective life to the text. As such, the idea that the Bible serves as one witness of God in the affairs of men is reduced to meaning that the Bible serves as one witness of God in the affairs of men so long as that witness is consistent with the tradition of black struggle.

Fourth, in the last paragraph from the Cone quote above it is clear that Christianity as a religion is subservient to what it means to be black. Further, Jesus is a wax nose that can be shaped to serve the ethnic agenda of any particular people group according to Cone. To make Jesus Black is to make him the figure that justifies whatever is considered black behavior.

Fifth, it is manifestly clear that Black liberation theology does not like white people. Indeed, the purpose of Black liberation theology is to prioritize all things black over any thing not black. This is one reason why I continue to believe that if Barack Huseein Obama is elected there will be pursuit of reparations. It is difficult to understand how a Black man coming from this tradition of thought (and Obama certainly does come from this tradition) can be seriously considered a “post-racial” candidate.

Sixth, notice how Cone posits an antithesis between white people and black people. The White (Honky) Jesus has no place in the Black community and indeed the White Jesus must be destroyed. Now, what do you suppose that the attitude of a Black man, who has imbibed this kind of thinking for twenty tears, is going to be towards white people who don’t agree with him?
