WOULD BE LOOKING OVER YOUR LIFE, EVERYBODY’S GOT WINGS, NOBODY’S PERFECT, WOULD BE THE GREATEST MORAL FAILURE…OF AMERICA?

I THINK AMERICA’S GREATEST MORAL FAILURE IN MY LIFETIME HAS BEEN THAT WE STILL DON’T ABIDE BY THAT BASIC RESPECT IN MATTHEW THAT WHATEVER YOU DO FOR THE LEAST OF MY BROTHERS, YOU DO FOR ME.

AND NOTION OF — THAT BASIC PRINCIPLE APPLIES TO POVERTY. IT APPLIES TO RACISM AND SEXISM. IT APPLIES TO, YOU KNOW, NOT HAVING — NOT THINKING ABOUT PROVIDING LADDERS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO GET INTO THE MIDDLE CLASS. I MEAN, THERE IS A PERVASIVE SENSE I THINK THAT THIS COUNTRY IS WEALTHY AND POWERFUL AS WE STILL DON’T SPEND ENOUGH TIME THINKING ABOUT THE LEAST OF THESE —

This reveals Obama’s basic socialistic leaning. Behind this answer is the premise that the State must do more by way of wealth redistribution, and quota legislation.

Also the answer ignores the utter failure that the Nanny State has been. We have spent billions of dollars since FDR’s New Deal and LBJ’s Great Society to eliminate poverty and to provide for “the least of these” and most of what has been accomplished is creating a permanent poverty class by our subsidizing poverty, as well as a slave class dependent upon Massa State for handouts and take care of them.

Indeed I would say the greatest domestic moral fault of America in the past 80 years has been to pursue, by way of legislation and policy, the impoverishment and enslavement of large swaths of our population. America has been guilty of pursuing policies that create and perpetuate “the least of these.” Out of the desire to build a permanent constituency of those who are constantly reminded what they are owed and how they have been victimized, politicians like Obama have created a climate of bitterness and hatred between those who have been taught to envy and those who are the countries producers. That is moral failure in spades.

Relief for the “least of these” will not be secured by quotas and wealth redistribution. Relief for the “least of these” will come by way of the State giving up the sovereignty that it has stolen from family, church, and education realms, so that these spheres of sovereignty can be strengthened to deal with the “least of these.”

If Obama is elected and is able to pursue his policies that will take care of “the least of these,” you can book it now that by the time Obama leaves office our “least of these” will be proportionally a larger percentage of the country and they will not be any better off then they were before the Lord Munificent Obama took office.

Finally, we can’t finish this section without noting the utter and total hypocrisy of this “man.” The least of the least of the least of these in America are the unborn and B. Hussein Obama can’t kill them fast enough. It takes a great deal of cheekiness to shed crocodile tears about the “least of these” while being a butcher and torturer of the defenseless.

KIND OF TRYING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE NOTE AND SAY, WELL, THAT DIDN’T QUITE WORK OUT THE WAY I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BUT MAYBE I CAN GET A LITTLE BIT BETTER. IT GIVES ME THE CONFIDENCE TO TRY THINGS INCLUDING THINGS LIKE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO SCREW UP ONCE IN A WHILE.

Scripture reminds us that a you can tell a tree by its fruits. Obama can shout all he wants that he is ‘redeemed’ but if he produces the fruit of dead babies then he is either a liar or he is deceived.

This answer though is red meat for the leftist evangelical crowd.

Here is a question for the R2Kt virus guys. Let’s say you had B. Hussein Obama as a member of your congregation and in his job in the common realm he consistently pursues the death of the unborn as he has consistently done as State and US Senator, and further, he appeals to a well thought out natural law basis for his position that he insists honors the Lordship of Jesus…does your church leadership discipline President B. Husein Obama?

Rick Warren knows the blood dripping from the hands of Barack Hussein Obama on the issue of abortion and he trusts his integrity?

That tells me a great deal about Warren’s integrity

I don’t happen to agree with everything either of them teach or believe but they are both Patriots and they have very different views on how America can be strengthened in America. We’ve got to learn to disagree without demonizing each other and we need to restore civility. We need to restore civilty in our civil discourse and that’s the goal of the Saddleback civil forum.

Here we see what Evangelicalism has been reduced to. Evangelicalism is all about being nice.

Civility occurs when your disagreeing over which way is the best way to drive to Aunt Millies for lunch. Civility is needed when you are discussing whether you should seed or sod when you landscape. Civility is needed when you’re disagreeing with an umpire over the called third strike. But how much civility is really required when we are debating with murderers of those not yet born? How much civility is really required when we are debating those who would continue to aid in the destruction of the spiritual and moral fabric of the country? When do we move past civility to pointed desperation in our debate?

We are dying as a people and culture, but what Warren seems to be primarily interested in our death throes is that we are civilized to each other while we are dying.

This means I read the Bible through the lens of a black tradition of struggle and not as the objective word of God. Black theology must realize that the white Jesus has no place in the black community and it is our task to destroy him….Black theology is concerned only with the tradition of Christianity that is usable in the black liberation struggle….For to long Christ has been pictured as a blue eyed honky. Black theologians are right; we need to de-honkyify him and thus make him relevant to the black condition.”

Stephen Mansfield’s new book “The Faith Of Barack Obama”

As quoted from James Cone’s Book — Black Theology & Black Power

Several important things here.

First, as to background, Mansfield includes the quote from Jame’s Cone in his book on “The Faith of Barack Obama” because Obama’s spiritual mentor and pastor for twenty years, Jeremiah Wright channeled James Cone and his work in his preaching and ministry. Cone was instrumental in the formation of Black Liberation Theology and Wright was instrumental in popularizing Cone’s work in the church he ministered. Obama thus, at the very minimum has been deeply influenced by Black Liberation Theology. This has crept through some of the things he and his wife have said in the election cycle. Indeed, if you read some of Barack Hussein and Michelle Obama’s recent quotes against this Black Liberation Theology backdrop it is downright scary.

Second, note that for “Theologian” James Cone experience is determinative of what the Bible teaches. This stands in opposition to the idea that the Scriptures should be determinative on how we interpret our experience. Cone has prioritized himself and his experience over against the testimony of God’s Word. This is called idolatry.

Third Cone’s literary methodology is clearly post-modern and so reflects the deconstructionist school of thought. For Cone there is no objective (authorial?) word in the text. For Cone all there is, is the Black reader giving meaning to the text by breathing life into the inert Scriptures. The subjective readers gives objective life to the text. As such, the idea that the Bible serves as one witness of God in the affairs of men is reduced to meaning that the Bible serves as one witness of God in the affairs of men so long as that witness is consistent with the tradition of black struggle.

Fourth, in the last paragraph from the Cone quote above it is clear that Christianity as a religion is subservient to what it means to be black. Further, Jesus is a wax nose that can be shaped to serve the ethnic agenda of any particular people group according to Cone. To make Jesus Black is to make him the figure that justifies whatever is considered black behavior.

Fifth, it is manifestly clear that Black liberation theology does not like white people. Indeed, the purpose of Black liberation theology is to prioritize all things black over any thing not black. This is one reason why I continue to believe that if Barack Huseein Obama is elected there will be pursuit of reparations. It is difficult to understand how a Black man coming from this tradition of thought (and Obama certainly does come from this tradition) can be seriously considered a “post-racial” candidate.

Sixth, notice how Cone posits an antithesis between white people and black people. The White (Honky) Jesus has no place in the Black community and indeed the White Jesus must be destroyed. Now, what do you suppose that the attitude of a Black man, who has imbibed this kind of thinking for twenty tears, is going to be towards white people who don’t agree with him?

Here is something I don’t understand.

John Edwards has an affair and everybody acts like it is something to be ashamed about?

Whence this leftover Christian conscience about sexuality?

Think about it. The ubiquity of affairs and adultery in our society is legendary. Bill Clinton had several. Bob Livingston who was set to become the Speaker of the House announced during the Clinton – Lewinsky affair that he would not seek to be Speaker of the House due to his own adulterous infidelities. Newt Gingrich had an affair while he was trying to pull down Clinton for his affair and for lying about his affair. Tom Delay was involved in an adulterous affair. John McCain cheated on his wife who stood by him while he was a POW in Hanoi. John Kennedy cheated on the beautiful Jacki and Martin Luther King cheated on Coretta Scott King. Franklin Roosevelt cheated on Eleanor (after looking at pictures of Eleanor one can only have sympathy for Franklin) Warren Harding cheated on Florence King Harding, and on and on it goes. Indeed, it would probably be easier to make a list of high profile politicians who haven’t been sexually immoral.

Indeed, so prevalent is the Washington Whorehouse attitude that in 1998 during the Clinton impeachment hearings House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt said, “We need to stop destroying imperfect people at the altar of an unattainable morality.”

Clearly according to people in high places being faithful to ones spouse is a morality that is unattainable.

So if that is true, and it sure seems like it is for a great host of Americans, both in politics and not in politics, then what I want to know is why the Media believes it necessary to tells us when another high profile politician has fallen short of the unattainable morality?” To fall short of something that is by definition unattainable is hardly newsworthy.

It seems most Americans don’t see any problem in keeping time with somebody who isn’t their spouse, so why is it news when John Edwards is discovered tapping boots with a strange blond and why does anyone care?

Please allow me to answer my own question.

Somewhere in the American psyche there remains the Christian sense of right and wrong and even though many Americans cheat on their spouse they know it is wrong of them to do so and they know it is wrong when a high profile person does the same. On one level it doesn’t make any sense that adultery would disqualify anybody for anything given its prevalence, but on another level people desire their leaders to shape up to outwardly Christian norms… at least in obvious areas.

I figure though, with the passing of another generation, a high profile politician’s adultery will no longer be an item worthy of even the National Inquirer’s scrutiny. Sooner or later we are going to get consistent about this adultery thing. It would be nice if God would send Reformation so that we would be consistent by actually restraining our animal instincts and choosing to be loyal to our spouses.

When in the Course of God’s Providence, it becomes necessary for His people to cast off the unrighteous political shackles which have been foisted upon them, and to install again, among the powers of the earth, Governments that are reflective of the Kingship of Christ, thus taking to themselves, for God’s Glory, the separate and equal station to which the Law of God requires of them, a decent respect to the curiosities of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to pursue Reform.

This Federal Government has refused its Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

It has first allowed and then promoted ethnocide in its policy on abortion (Roe vs. Wade, Casey vs. The United States), resulting in the Governmentally sanctioned deaths of 40 million of its weakest and most defenseless citizens.

Consistent with this ethnocidal policy the US Government and its agents have overturned legal referendums seeking to halt illegal immigration, resulting in the exhaustion of the social safety net and the imminent destruction of the American culture with its uniquely Christian influence.

In this refusal to protect our borders it has failed in its responsibility to protect the citizenry from enemies abroad.

It has upheld as legal and thus called evil, ‘good’ the vilest of behavior (Lawerence vs. Texas).

It has made legally right what is morally wrong in its sanction of land seizure and theft (Kelso vs. New London).

It has embraced Polytheism as the official De-facto State religion with its Van Orden vs. Perry and McCreary County vs. ACLU decisions. These decisions are an affirmation of Idolatry and an assault on Christianity.

Through its confiscatory policy of taxation and its onerous regulatory power it has burdened the American public with economic hardship and monetary deprivations.

By its adoption of particular curriculums for the Educational facilities that are under its administration it has sought to procure and establish a godless people.

In violation of the 9th and 10th amendments it has violated its jurisdiction by seizing for itself the sovereignty that belongs to the other appropriate and varied jurisdictions of Self, Family, and Church.

It has erected a multitude of New Offices, thus creating swarms of Officers to harass the people, and eat out our substance.

It is currently pursuing the subjection of the people to international law that has no basis in American Jurisprudence thus allowing a more ‘reasonable’ justification for our oppression. In doing so it is threatening to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution and unacknowledged by our laws.

Against American interest it has oversaw the exportation of America’s manufacturing base forgetting that fair trade is to be preferred to free trade, and in doing so it has impoverished America.

It has upheld policy that deprives the superior and more qualified candidates for opportunity in education and career in favor of the pursuit of balanced skin pigment and ethnicity.

It has pursued a foreign policy of Empire that guarantees to earn the enmity of the World.

It has multiplied laws with the result that enforcement is arbitrary since almost any action by any citizen can be construed as a violation of some law.

By its usurpations it has fundamentally altered the Forms of our Governments.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have we been wanting in attentions to our Ruling brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their ‘legal’ machinations to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our Christian History and the tradition of rule of law here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They not only have been deaf to the voice of justice and the sense of a shared culture, but also in response to our pleas have doubled their Tyranny and Trebled their oppression. We, therefore, the Representatives of these united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the God of the Bible as the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by the Authority of Jesus Christ, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to have again Government that promotes Liberty and is accountable to the only rule wherein Liberty can be secured. Because of the violations of the Federal Government we announce that the current Usurpatious reign has forfeited the obligation of its citizenry to be responsible to all of its rulings. We announce to the World that we intend once again to be governed by the rule of God’s law as expressed in the Constitution and will no longer be slaves to the law of men. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of King Jesus, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
